Am I the only one that sees "Illustrator 88" in the photo above? (on the box inside the green outer box) It's Illustrator 88.
I've got the internal box.. but not that external green box. Ahhh.. the days when Adobe tripple boxed everything and included a manual with their $200 product.... now, with a $700 product, they don't even make manuals.
Thanks for all the replies!
I'd like to post more links, that confuses me:
Adobe Illustrator 1.0 (logo in the to left corner, red paths doesn't match my box) and Adobe Illustrator 88 (completely different cover) images:
Adobe Illustrator 1.1 box (same back as my box, but 2 drawers with the VHS tape and two 3.5 floppy disks, almost like Larry described it):
This site lists another box/documents combination and both images are labelled illustrator88:

So I'm still not sure about my box, but there might have been different box designs for similar software versions. Maybe the shipped AI 1.1 with a single drawer to Europe because of different VHS systems (PAL/NTSC)? Or Adobe used some older boxes for the first AI88 shippings?
