Hidden Security Somewhere

I have a PDF form that I have created that I wish to flattern using some js script that I have downloaded. In addition to this I opened my form in Reader X and clicked on the sign tab and it said in a warning box

'The security settings on this document present adding text and/or placing a signature on it from Adobe Reader..........'

This is also similar to an error I get when trying to flattern the PDF. I have gone into the security Encrypt section and there is nothing there, no is there anything under the Signatures section.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Toni

Reader always has less permissions than Acrobat. If the form has Extended Reader Functions applied there are even restrictions for the Acrobat product.

You can not use Reader to flatten any form, only Acrobat can perform that function.
