Camera RAW handling in CS6

Whereas I can open RAW files for my 5d Mark III in Photoshop CS5, I can't do it in CS6. I get a "If you're attempting to open a RAW file from your digital camera... make sure you have the latest camera RAW update..." I click on "Update" and I'm told I have the latest... Any idea? Thanks. Marcel

The Camera Raw 7 build provided with Photoshop CS6 is by chance just a little behind the Camera Raw 6.7 beta for Photoshop CS5. Only Adobe can say for sure, but I imagine they'll resolve this before release of CS6.

Hi Marcel,

The Photoshop CS6 beta software has the same camera support as found in Ps CS5/5.5 compatible CR 6.6.
There will be future updates to CR 7 for Ps CS6 to pick up more camera support.

If you like to work with your 5D mkIII raw files in the public beta build now, you'll have to get the DNG Converter 6.7 from here: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/cameraraw6-7/
and convert your files to DNG.
