i am having trouble highlighting a table row on mouse over. i've tried this, but it doesn't work for me:

background-color:#00F;
}
what do i need to change so that this will work for me?

not sure why i can't just do

color:#300;
just worried that some may have js disabled...
Those that do have JS disabled are unlikely to miss eye candy such as table row highlighting on hover.
