Need help regarding forums

For some reason I am getting a 'Read Only' for the Photoshop forum.

 

Is anyone else seeing this?

 

There is no "Start Discussion" under Actions in the right sidebar.

 

I even created a new account and the same thing keeps happening.

 

Yet many of the other forums I can post to.

 

Thanks for any advice.

    It appears it is an internal problem...

    There's actually a separate Adobe forum for discussing the functionality of the Adobe forums

    Sometimes, this will happen when they are working on the server.

    It fixes itself

    I'd been trying to ask a question since last night... so when it was still whacked today... I was really wondering.

     

    I'd forgotten about the link you posted.

     

    I rarely have to ask questions but this one has me baffled and hope the Photoshop forum comes on line very soon.

    I don't remember ever having this problem before.

     

    The spacebar is nolonger inserting a space between characters.

     

    I tried switching from my wireless iMac keyboard to my wired Apple keyboard; replaced preference files; booted from several other partitions (that share the same Photoshop app); checked the character palette for kerning and tracking; and tried different fonts.

     

    It may be that I have to trash the preference files and completely reset them... but I sure hope not.

     

    I've tried two backup preference files (but perhaps this problem has been going on longer than I thought and both backups are corrupt).

     

    My apologies for asking this on the Dreamweaver forum (which I also use)... but I'd be crazy to not reply after you were kind enough to offer... <g>
