Configuring when cursor changes from pointer to hand?

Apr 4, 2012 6:27 AM

Hi all,

I have created interactive *swf files which i have imported into indesign to create an interactive pdf. In the swf file the interactive parts can be recognized by the changing cursor (pointer to hand) by hovering over them. Once embedded into a PDF this ability seems lost, showing only a hand when clicking. Is it possible to configure in the pdf when the pointer changes from arrow to hand?

Thanks heaps in advance!

Jos

Placing a SWF file into a PDF is essentially a "hack." There are no controls and the user experience is often less than satisfactory. Sorry for the bad news.

My testing results for swf placed directly in Acrobat: the cursor changes when over the entire placed swf, not an individual interactive element. But, any rollover effect for the individual interactive element is honored and visible.
