Mark - thanks for your follow up. Same isssue. I need to get your guidance regarding finding the 'hosts' file - in order to try to clear it.
I'm running on Mac - OS10.6 / DW CS5
I also read a reference somewhere that the BLab/DW plug in was about to be dropped by Adobe? - in which case is this a moot point?
Thanks
Hi Prangne,
I've sent you instructions and a link in a PM to help you find and edit that file. Follow those instructions and then close and reopen DW and find and click on the CS Live menu button... do you see a normal menu, or does it contain an error message? If you see a normal menu, try your test again with BrowserLab. If you see an error message, take a screenshot of it and post it here please, there's another step I can have you try.
FYI, this is not a moot point, we're not dropping support for this integration, at least in existing copies of CS5 & 5.5. Do you know where you read that? If you can point me to it that would be great.
Thanks,
Mark
We've determined that there are two possible causes to this issue:
- The software is not properly activated.
- You (or an administrator) have disabled Internet access for Adobe online services.
To check if access to Adobe online services have been disabled on your computer, see this article: Disable access to Adobe CS service extensions
If that is not the issue, then the cause has to do with activation. Te resolve the issue, perform the steps in the solution of this article: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-i ssues.html
