This Advanced Open Window 3 for Dreamweaver extension does not work on my MS XTPro system or our web server. I purchased this extension recently and have had nothing but troubles with it and the company support. This extension on some servers will actually load a page of code that is visible before playing a SWF file. Their support was of no help and basically told me that it worked fine on their system so too bad, so sad! I went through all the back and forth and sending files to them for help and they still would not honor a reimbursement after they couldn't figure out the problem. You will not get any money back guarantee from these folks and they will not get back to you quickly as they are in the Netherlands on a different time than the US. "Warning" if you have trouble with this extension don't expect much. I will never buy another item from this company DMXzone again.
I've used other DMX Zone Extensions without problems.
This extension looks like a relic from the early Macromedia days. I can't imagine why you purchased it or why it's still being offered on the Adobe Exchange. Geeez, this thing is ancient.

No, it's on a dev server behind a secure firewall. I sent a mock-up set of html files to DMXzone with the same problems for them to inspect, but they said they had no problems....yet our servers and computers did....that's when DMXzone basically told me sorry...it works for us but not for you. I asked, well since I won't be able to use your product (and could show them with a screen shot) can I have a refund. They answered NO to that question
. So I guess if you can't get their extensions to work on your systems or servers you're out of luck with them...or in this case about 34 bucks.
Plus all the days going back and forth with emails since they are in the Neitherlands. Last time I buy from them for sure!
I have tried all sizes and designs…it’s not that as some of the swf files are way too small to even use a loader…like 200K…some smaller, some larger. It puts that window of code up before it plays the SWF in all cases…just the amount of time the garbage code window is displayed is effected by file size. Smaller files, the window goes away quickly (1 sec or less), larger files the window displays 2-3 seconds or more before the SWF file starts to play properly in the window. I have used older swf files that worked perfectly find in other Dreamweaver pages…. It is the extension doing something I’m sure.
