I recently switched to version 10 of Adobe acrobat Pro from version 7. I did a clean install of windows 7 [64bit] on my pc and then installed this version. I can't see all my menu bar items. I can only see file, edit window and help. where are tools, advanced, Documents and others??

That's how the new UI works - all the other menu items are now on the Panes on the left side of the window, displayed as buttons.

Acrobat X hasn't removed any tools, but some of them only appear if you're in a specific mode (forms editing, etc.) and a couple of the lesser-used panes are hidden by default.

Ref image extraction - you want Tools > Document Processing > Export All Images. If the Document Processing panel isn't visible, click the dropdown menu on the top left of the Tools Pane to select it.

There is no way to revert to the old user interface. Love it or hate it, this one is here to stay.
