Any way to Disable Deactivation?

Apr 5, 2012 9:21 AM

Hello,

We use Photoshop and Priemere Elements on 100+ machines througout our organisation. Ive had a few issues with students deactivating the existing install.. Is there a way we can prevent them from doing this? Something along the line of greying out the menu option like we can with the Updates and Registration options..

Thanks!

You'll need to contact Adobe about that, possibly your volume licensing rep will have an answer.

    Hi,

Could you please confirm is it a volume serial key or the retail serial key you are using.

If its volume serial key then there is no activation required, hence not de-activation will be present in the UI.

    Also, confirm the Operating system.

If the de-activate is enable in all the systems then its a serial number issue and you have to contact the Adobe support for it.

But if the behaviour is not with all the systems then its a installation issue and you can try the installation again.

One thing i would like to inform you that if anyone de-activates the serial number then Serial number will get deactivated for that specific system only and the other systems will continue to work.
