Hi,
after De-installing my Creative Suite 3, Acrobat 9.3.0 needed to be installed again, which I correctly did.
But now, I have a problem with the Update from 9.3.0 to 9.5.
It ends with an Error 1108, which says something about the internet connection, but this is working fine.
Even with the downloaded Installer from the Adobe-Webpage, it won't work.
Would be nice to get some help "in here"...!! :-)
Working on an iMac with 10.7.3
Thanks
Sven
If the MAC is like the PC, you can do the updates from the help menu. If that does not work you have to download the updates from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform= Macintosh. On the PC, they have to be installed in order -- they are not cummulative.
Good day warnoh,
You can download the latest Acrobat X updates here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform= Macintosh
The 10.1.2 update is a DMG file and is comprehensive.
Sorry for the trouble you've had.
Kind regards,
David
Well so far nothing works for me. Tried the updater prompted by Acrobat to go from 9.3.0 to 9.5.0 and it freezes. Went to the updater download page, where there seems to be no one-step upgrade available but a long succession of incremental ones.
I've got as far as 9.3.3 only to be presented with a message that I must "Wait For App Shutdown Title", whatever that is. I'm told, "Please click OK when other apps have stopped". What other apps? Stopped what? I click occasionally but nothing happens.
I eventually succeeded by doing 12, yes 12, incremental updates - and by clicking Cancel on the several occasions when presented with the mysterious instruction "Wait For App Shutdown Title". (Waiting simply paused the process, while "cancelling" let it proceed.)
I don't know what AV is but, yes, I was logged in as the administrator.
