I'm unsure if I simply don't know how to use the program correctly or if I'm running into some sort of strange technical issue, but when I try to use render>lighting effects I can't seem to move the light source. I can see the preview of the light, but there is absolutely no kind of bounding box or container around it, and it seems to be unmoveable. I am just missing something or this a bug?
In case it might help anyone else, I played around with the performance settings and got the lighting effects to work properly using basic GPU settings. I'm using a Toshiba laptop with the AMD a6-3400m apu with HD 6520G graphics.
Cheers and happy photoshoping!
First you should probably ensure that you are using a supported video card with the most up to date driver.
See this FAQ link, it will list the supported cards and GPU troubleshooting guide.
When you get in to the lighting effects, you should see an ellipse that you can move around and change. There are several selections to the right of the word "lights" . If you select the one that looks like a flower, you get a widget to move the light around.
Check GPU first, then play.
Hope that helps!
