Having trouble uninstalling CS3 trial

I downloaded a trial of CS3 a few years ago and i'm trying to uninstall it. When I try to I get an error message that says "Setup is not properly installed. Please re-install". How can I fix this?

Try the Adobe CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5 Cleaner Tool

I just tried this, It didn't work. It says "There is no session to delete. Adobe Creative Cleaner Suite Tool will quit"

Have you tried Tech Support 101: reboot and try uninstalling again?

How can I fix this?

Probably not at all, especially if you have newer versions of Adobe tools on the system. These are version conflicts in the installer database. Short of uninstalling everything, cleaning out CS3 and then reinstalling whatever is your current version I see no way to resolve this. Even if it would work right off the bat, it would mess with file associations and a few otehr things for newer versions, so it's not the best way to deal with teh problem in teh first place...
