move scrollPane Left and Right through MovieClip or Button Instance on stage

Hi.

 

I am using ScrollPane component of as2.0, but I want to move the scrollPane left an right by clicking external button

does it possible?

this button can work like the functionality of LeftArrow anf RightArrow in scroll pane. Please Help.

    Based on looking at the properties of the component, it does not appear to support access for controlling the content or scrollbar via external controls. 

     

    You could create your own version of what you describe wanting using a movieclip as your content and a mask to frame it.  The buttons you speak of would be used to control the horizontal position of the movieclip under the mask.
