I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on my new iMac, and it skips completely over the product code and will not allow me to install the program. (Yes I am using the Mac version of set-up). I have had SO MANY problems with Adobe Premiere!!! I used to use an earlier version, so when I got this version I thought it would be better - but alas, NO! Now I have changed over to Mac hoping that 9 will work better on this format, and perhaps my old PC was just too old to handle it??? But I can't even get it installed!! I'm really beginning to Hate this program!!

What exactly happens when you put your serial number in? Do you get the red cross or green check
You are installing from the disc or from the download on your computer?
Do you get any error message while installation? if yes , what is it.....
also we need your mac specification , its version , OS , model etc...

I am trying to install from a disk. It doesn't even allow me to put the serial number in - it totally skips over that step and then gives me a red error message at the end. It's brand new - just bought it today. Model #A1311

My Adpbe product is a combination CD set with both Elements 9 and Premier 9. I was able to install Elements fine, but it won't take Elements.

You are so right - they do look familiar, however I have 9 not 10. Not sure what to do. When I downloaded the patch for 10 it looks for 10 and not 9.

the link posted above is for 9 only ......read the article properly it has the solution as well,
Ensure that the Adobe Premiere Elements 9 application is installed before installing the Content.
Note: When Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements 9 are purchased as a bundle, installations for both products are provided on a single DVD.
