I'm having a issue while edditing my videos.
When play the video i'm not geting a smooth playback. It's Shuttering, getting slow.
It happens with many HD videos and the ones i've imported from my NikonD5100 - mov files.
My pc configuration:
Intel i3 3.07Hz
8gb ram
ATI Radeon HD6670
2 hd sata 500gb 7200RPM
I don't know what to do.
Here, let me Google this problem for you ![]()

I wonder if your biggest problem is that you only have a i3 CPU.
Have you tried lowering the playback resolution to see if it helps.
Upload a sample to Mediafire and we can test the footage.

I've already tried lowering the playback resolution but it didnt worked.
I'll try editing in another pc with a i7 to see if it is the processor.
But it is interesting to notice that in the After effects i can work with the video normaly, and in other programs like Sony Vegas too.
Could be a software problem?
On a system that weak, i3 CPU, only 8 GB memory, AMD video card, only 2 HDD's, and using the MOV format, it just does not have enough horsepower. I'm not sure if the D5100 format is one of the exceptions that are supported natively, or whether it requires the 32 bit QT Server, but in the latter case it aggravates the problem of an underpowered system significantly. Maybe rendering your timeline before playing will help a bit. Did you tune your system, removing the sidebar, MSN and similar crap, did you turn of compression and indexing on both drives, do you have a fixed pagefile, have you disbled background services you do not need, have you killed anti-whatever software and other unneeded background processes, etc.
