I am setting up a new computer (Mac) and am not transferring data from old computer (clean install). I own Photoshop CS5 (not the Extended), and need to re-download that version (I had upgraded via Adobe website). The only version I see offered is the Extended, which I do not need or want.
How can I find the download I need? I have all the serial numbers going back to Photoshop 2.
This always fills me with dread, with these applications- most unfriendly.
There are ways to download the older versions using instructions found on ProDesignTools.com if need be.
And don't worry, if you get in a bind with the serial number / activation, give Adobe customer support a call. They are usually very helpful when it comes to activation issues.
Thank you both.
My account (Your Adobe Product and Online Service Registrations) shows the purchase of Photoshhop 12 (which I assume is CS5). However, the other section which shows purchases is missing this one and several others, whioch were supposedly corrected the last time I went thru this.
I don't see where to figure out whether CS 5 or CS 5.1. I had upgraded when the CS5 came out, and have updated it as updates are available. I guess I can download whatever is available and see if my activation codes work; if not, I guess I can uninstall and talk to Adobe next week.
