Hey all,
Hopefully a quick question.
I am building an intro video, and essentially I have a floor layer (with a fractal noise used as the texture). I want the floor to extend way off into the distance to where it fades off to better blend with the background.
I've got the extending it part down, CC Repetile does this well, but if I apply a Linear Wipe transition and adjust the transition complete parameter, each "section" of repeated layer begins to wipe away, rather than the whole big LAYER wiping away.
I then decided to change the layer size to 10k x 10k. This made the layer the correct size and the linear wipe/feather did what I want, but it takes forever to render at 1/3 resolution, and there's going to be a host of other elements in the composition.
So, is there a way to do what I want without making the layer 10k? The render was not stressed nearly as much when the tile effect was applied, so i'm hoping there is a way to do this through that means.
Best,
Dan
Okay that kind of creates an issue. The layer gets really small when I push it back. Right now it is at 100k in Z space and is TINY, and not even to the edge of the tile layer yet. I could always scale it up, but I will then have to copy it tons of times. I'll work on it, but are there any alternatives?
