Will uninstalling give me back my license?

I installed Premiere Elements 9 on a laptop that doesn't seem to have the power to handle it.  The video is very jerky and freezes a lot.  Not enough RAM, maybe.  My question is, if I uninstall it from that laptop and install it on another laptop, will I still have given up both of my licenses, or will I still have one remaining?

    You need to get your terminology straight. You have one license and two activations, not two licenses. Activation is separate from installation, thus simply uninstalling may not release the activation. Check the Help --> Deactivate menu to be sure.
