I have file name, descriptions and keywords showing in the content panel (Image backdrop). In this version, the font used to display the info is too bright. Is there any way to change this? In Bridge CS5, the font brightness of the content panel and the user interface are reversed
I am not exactly sure as to why this was marked correct. Perhaps I didn't ask the question correctly. I was aware of the preference menu, but this just changes the colour in the panels. In my case, the content panel shows the file name, description and keywords assigned to pictures. In Bridge CS5, the file name is shown in bright font, the same as for for the rest of Bridge. The description and keywords however, are show in, what I assume a light gray font, so it does not appear as bright as the rest of the writing. This makes it easier to distinguish from the rest. This is by default in Bridge CS5 - at least I have not seen anywhere where this can be changed.
The default in Bridge CS6 is all writing the same brightness, regardless of the colour scheme
Hi Vienna, in Bridge CS6, when you change the color of Image Backdrop, the font color of file name and other metadata will be changed automatically. That is to say if you set Image Backdrop to black, the font color of file name will be changed to white automatically, vice versa. In this way, there will always be high contrast between "the color of Image Backdrop" and "the color of file name". Please try to drag the bar of Image Backdrop from right to left, then you will see the font color of file name and keywords will be change automatically.
I think you missed the point. I had already said that I was aware of the Appearance Panel in Preferences. Have been using a few PS versions for some time now. As you change the the User Interface and Image Backdrop sliders, both file name and description change to the same degree. In Bridge CS 4 and 5, the description and keywords are much lighter, therefore easier to see
Hi Pete,
had already uninstalled CS6, due to problems when switching between CS5 and CS6. Installed it again today and here are the screenshots
The top is CS5 and the lower one CS6
I have also noticed that the lettering in the filter/keywords panels is similar to CS5, not as bold as in the content panel, as shown
Hope this helps
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks,

The current font color of filename/metadata in CS6 are as designed, and actually this feature change is requested by a lot of users, who used to complain about the low-contrast between the background and the filename/metadata. So if you have enhancement request please feedback on the page that Pattie provided.
