I set up a program and reviewed it for places to cut. I indicated each section with unnumbered timeline markers. After I cut out the first clip I noticed that the timeline markers for the rest of the program did not move/close with the remaining video. If the video I cut out was one minute the time line markers did nor move over to the left one minute. So, now they are all in the wrong place and basically useless. Can you lock time line markers to the video so they stay relevant?
The menu markers are always locked to the timeline itself, not the individual clips.
This is why we always recommend waiting until you've completely finished editing before you add your menu markers.
The Timeline Markers are attached to the Timeline, irrespective of the Clips on that Timeline. They are defined by the TimeCode of the Timeline.
PrPro has another type of Marker, the Clip Marker, but I do not think that PrE, at least up to Version 10, has added those.
