No audio waveform in 5.1 audio. Can someone help?

I'm editing this project using mainly AVCHD video from a sony handycam with 5.1 audio, in Premiere Pro CS5. When i put these clips on the timeline there are no waveforms in the audio, although it is selected. But if I put in the same timeline a clip with stereo audio the waveforms are there.

 

Is it possible to see waveforms in 5.1?
