Centering ruler and grid

I'd like to have an option to be able set the center of the image as 0,0 on the ruler and the center aligned to it for the grid. I'm aware that I can drag it to the center from the upper left corner but I have to have the image at 100% or more to guarantee placing it properly. I've looked all over and can't find a option.

This the first program Beta that I've really enjoyed useing with the neat things added.

You might record an action that places guides at 50% and then your point of origin will snap to the guides.
Change your rulers units to percent before recording the action. Then View>New Guide.

You could also change the grid to show at 50% and the point of origin will snap to the grid:

If you have a layer that the object is off center you can select the move tool with bounding box enabled and that will show the center of that layer (object)

Another way is to use an Extension called GuideGuide, which lets you set up guides precisely to your liking. You can do outlines and centeres with a click of a button. So far, I haven't had any issues using it in CS6.

WOW What a find. This might do it for me.
