I am trying to create something like this for a login page: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=v8960b5q6b31ijb
so maybe features like a bit of shadow, transparency, and blur.. not sure what else... any ideas on how to go about doing this?
here is what i have so far: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=9wmw4xx71c6335o
Finding the perfect background image might take some time, but the login-box would look about the same with white (#FFF) background with transparency at 80% - 90%.
But how to create transparent color fill without tweaking the opacity-% of the whole object (eg. stroke & filters)?
- Set object fill type to gradient
- Fill up the both fill colors with #FFF to #FFF
- Adjust color bar's upper nodes aka the transparencies down to 80%.
Now you can add 100% visible border/stoke around the login-box.
This trick will obsolete when CS6 comes out ![]()
