Are you able to view the 3D menu in CS6 beta or that option is greyed out?
This is how the menu bar looks like in my PS CS6 Beta.
Please go to the below link and download and install the latest build for CS6 beta and check if that helps.
If 3D features don't show up, then your graphics card doesn't qualify or is misconfigured in the driver. This is no different than it was in CS4 and CS5. Read the system requirements and polish up your graphics setup.
I didn't know about the XP issues. That's the OS I have on my desktop. I do have a laptop with Windows 7. I'll check the graphics card issues and give CS6 Beta a try there, if it looks like it might work OK.
