I need to re-connect my Keyword file

I am setting up my new computer & need to know how to show Bridge where my Keyword file is?

 

Anyone?

    Keywords are stored on the image so they should just show up.

    I am setting up my new computer & need to know how to show Bridge where my Keyword file is?

     

    On your old system use the keyword panel pop up menu (top right of the keyword panel) and choose 'export' and save the list with a proper name to an easy location or copy to USB etc.

     

    Then use the same way on your new system but now choose import and look for your just saved file and hit OK. Now your old list will appear again in the keyword panel.

     

     

    Manual copy is depending on your OS system en OS version.

     

    If you are on a Mac look in the User library :

     

    User (your Account)/ library/ application Support/Adobe/ BridgeCSxx/ and inhere is the file called: "Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml"

     

    You can copy that file containing your existing list to the same location on your new system. If you have Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion) the user library is hidden by default, do a Google search on how to reveal this.

     

    If you are on Windows I believe Curt can provide the correct path
