Where do I find the following?

When selecting a drawing tool, consider the effect you want.

1.Choose Comment > Drawing Markups, and select a drawing tool:

■The Rectangle tool , the Oval tool , the Arrow tool , and the Line tool let you create simple shapes.

■The Cloud tool and Polygon tool create closed shapes with multiple segments. The Polygon Line tool creates open shapes with multiple segments.

■The Pencil tool creates free-form drawings, and the Pencil Eraser tool removes the pencil markups.

In Adobe Acrobat choose Comment > Drawing Markups

Is there a way to merge "drawing markups" to the pdf document to ensure they print? I know there is an option to "print comments/markups" but in the event of redacting information from a document, would it be possible to make the markups (eg. lined-out text) part of the document? Kind of like merging two layers.

Flattening the file will achieve that. It can be done with a script, a

Preflight profile, or the PDF Optimizer.

The script option should work. Open the JS console (Ctrl+J), enter this

code, then select it and press Ctrl+Enter:

flattenPages()
