Hi,
Running Windows XP SP3, Flash Player 11.2.202.229, Chrome 18.0.1025.152.
No audio when playing flash videos in web browsers Chrome, FF or IE. Also video seems to play a bunch of frames really fast, then returns to normal frame rate, then fast again.
No issues with computer's audio (audio is fine in standalone players). Tried deleting all caches, clean uninstalling Flash and reinstalling etc. to no avail.
Could you please open a new bug on this over at bugbase.adobe.com? Please include a specific URL, a copy of your dxdiag report and any additional information you think might be relevant. After adding the bug, please post back with the bug URL so that others affected can add their votes.
In addition, could you try disabling hardware acceleration to see if that makes any impact?
How do I disable or enable hardware acceleration?
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Thanks for that. Disabling hardware acceleration doesn't resolve the issue.

Hope I have submittted that correctly, haven't done this before.
Yes, I only have problems playing audio in-browser. In every other respect audio works completely fine on my system.
Neither the flash nor the HTML5 tests work. So I guess that tells me it is not flash player but some other problem.
Oh well, back to the drawing board. Perhaps it is a problem with DirectX or something...![]()
Thanks fo your help.
