Trouble signing and sending document

Apr 10, 2012 8:18 PM

Just downloaded the newest release of Adobe Reader for iOS. I've opened several PDFs from the default mail app without issue. I can insert a signature just fine.

However, when I try to email the document, the recipient gets the unsigned version. Also, when I try to upload it to Dropbox, Dropbox gets the unsigned version.

How do I save and send the signed version?

Thanks

iPad 2, iOS 5.1

I seemed to have the same problem, then discovered if you use Open In-Adobe Reader, the Signature is then visible.

gogreenway, this is a great point. The ink signature is an annotation. Some viewers (like the one built into the ipad email application and built into dropbox) won't display the annotation correctly. zombiefreakx7, can you tell me where your recipient is viewing the PDF? They will have to view in a PDF application that supports annotations.

Yes - that sounds exactly right. If they did "open in" for a pdf viewer that supported annotations, they could see the signature.
