Saving brushes and fonts

I'm using Illustrator CS5 and I need to know how to save my custom brush as a png file and my custom font as a ttf file. Could somebody tell me how? Thanks.

    Simply apply it to a path on the canvas and export from there.

     

    my custom font as a ttf file.

     

    Not possible. AI does not allow saving to any font format. You will have to import your AI files into proper font authoring tools like Fontographer and so on.
