Strikethrough setting

Apr 11, 2012 7:39 AM

Is there a way to set your strikethrough to be a certain thickness no matter the text size?  The default weight of an underline and strikethrough depends on the size of the type, but is there a way to change the default?

I am using 10 pt text and the strikethrough comes in at .5, I want it to be .75.

I would like to just select strike through and have it come in at .75 versus .5--no matter the size of the font--the size fonts I am dealing with range between 8-12, so I am fine with .75-----.5 seems to thin.

You can set the default strikethrough thickness to use in your paragraph styles as well as in your character styles.

But I detect an under-tone of "I'm not using paragraph styles" in your post; if so, well, you are (even though you might not be aware of it), and you can change the default strikethrough thickness to use in your Basic Paragraph style.
