Unable to upload Photos edited in Adobe Photoshop CS5

Tags: #cs5 #error_uploading

Hi All,

I have edited some Raw photos in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

The photo size is less than 5 MB, but while uploading them to the sites such as Picasa or Facebook, I get an error.

Not a single photo is getting uploaded.

Can anybody help me what's going wrong ?

Regards,

Vilas

The issue is with web browser as the error comes up while uploading. Try with another web browser like Google Chrome.

Moving this discussion to the Photoshop General Discussion forum.

Should we be so bold as to ask what that specific error message was?

Should we guess that you used the "save for web" function in Photoshop?

It might be a size issue.  You said less than 5Mb,, but that is still big for a JPG, so I am wondering if you are downsizing before uploading?  There's not much point in uploading full res image files to the web, and the sites might have a limit.

    What error did you get?

    Which OS?

What type of image is it(jpeg, tiff, raw format, etc)?

    Give the exact workflow?

    Great news!

I am using Windows 7, and recently had upgraded my browser to IE 9.

After suggestion from Manish Kumar, I tried Google Chrome, and bang.... it worked !!!

I began having issues just attaching image files to the Adobe Forums (all specs. ideal for doing so), with IE 7 and IE 8. Instead, using Chrome fixed that too. Back then, I posted to the Forum Comments Forum (it being a Forum issue), and others tested on FireFox, and a few other browsers, but everyone on IE was also failing. I wonder if MS did an update, that broke things, or perhaps deliberately "limited" things?

Glad that Chrome worked for you.
