can i change files from tiff to jpeg enmass?

i have about 50 tiffs in a folder.  can i duplicate each and then turn the dupes into jpegs all with one action?

    I would create an Action to Save_As JPEG (or any chosen format), and then use that with Automate>Batch.

    If you use Image processor, it will create a folder called jpg for you.

    I would use Bridge.  Highlight all the photos you want to work on then click Tools/Photoshop/Image Processor.

    Great news! As with many things in Photoshop (and Bridge), there are often several ways to accomplish an end. Often, it will depend on one's workflow, or maybe what they wish to achieve.
