Shape tween problem, can you help?

can someone help me? im new with flash and im having trouble with shape tweening. when i create two key frames (an open shape on each), then use a shape tween on them the in between frames have a line closing the shape that isnt there at either of the key frames and isnt supposed to be there, when it gets back to a key frame it is gone but the in between frames have it, any ideas?

    shapetweening can give really unpredictable result when you're not using really basic shapes.

    You can do 3 things here:

     

    1 - Use shape hints

    2 - Tween your shapes on different layers, so it is less complex on one layer

    3 - Animate frame by frame, more work but maximum control

    thanks but i have tried those the thing im trying to avoid is having to go back into each frame and remove the random lines XD
