HOW TO ADD custom newsletter image template in cq5 newsletter

HI,

 

if any body knows how we can add my newsletter template , please let me know how to do that.

 

I dont want to use default geometrix newsletter template ,but i am creating my newsletter template and that i want to use . iam creating my newsletter template and also adding resourcetype as :- /content/campaigns(/.*)?

but i am not able to see my template under campaign folder.

 

Please help me to solve this issue.

    can you post a list of properties from your newly created template?

    in your screenshot the following parameter is missing.

     

    allowedParents {String[]}: /libs/cq/personalization/templates/campaign

    allowedParents should be String[], not String

    this is probably because the parent container where you try to create the newsletter is of the wrong type.

     

    have you already read the docs topic templates? this will get you an idea.

    does your newsletter page component set the correct resource super type? sling:resourceSuperType="mcm/components/newsletter/page"

    In CRXDE Lite navegate to content/campaings/jcr:content and edit the value of the cq:allowedTemplates property. Click the + sign at the botton of the dialog and and add the path to your template apps/[youwebsite]/templates/newsletter

    I have tried this and now I can select the newsletter template, but the actual newsletter doesn't show up in the campaign list.
