When I tried to download a book for Diabetics it was rejected by Adobe Reader 5.

Why would cause Your Reader to reject a book to download for any reason.

    What do you mean by "rejected", exactly? And are you aware that this version is more than a decade old? You should try installing the latest version (called Reader X), which is much more likely to open the file correctly.

    Will have to agree with try67 on this. That version is WAY out of date and isn't supported any more. There are way to many new features in PDF's these days that it couldn't work with.

    Make sure that you uninstall Reader 5 before installing a newer version.
