How do I disable review tracker on startup (winXP)

How do I disable the Adobe Review tracker on WinXP startup?

 

I've looked in the startup list and I do not see see any mention of Adobe Collab Sync or review tracker.

If I run msconfig I can't see it listed in the startup area either.

 

Any help would be great!

    In Acrobat, under Edit > Preferences > Tracker uncheck "Show notification icon in system tray".

    Thanks for the reply Lori.

    However, in my version of Acrobat (8.1.2) I do not see any mention of "tracker" in the Preferences section.

    I do see a  "Reviewing" category, but it does not have a "Show Notification Icon in System Tray" check box

     

    I do see a "Show Tracker alerts" slider, which if I slide all the way to the left seems to say "Never". I'm going to give that a try

    Moving the "Show Tracker Alerts" slider to "never" didn't work, I still see the Adobe review tracker in the system tray.

    Lori,

    What version of Acrobat are you using when you said "In Acrobat, under Edit > Preferences > Tracker uncheck "Show notification icon in system tray"?

     

    I'm not seeing it in the 8.1.2 version I'm using.

    I have versions 9 and X -- ironically I just uninstalled version 8 this week. Perhaps someone else can jump in a help us out.

    Right click on the yellow colored tracker icon in the system tray. If the "Show Review Notifications" has this check mark, click it again and notifications will not be shown in system tray. If you wish to stop the synchronizer then click on the last option "Stop Adobe Synchronizer".
