Adobe X download u. Install Prob.

Habe Adobe X downloaded u. installiert ( vor geschlagene upgrade ). Problem  - alle icons wede überschiftet mit Adobe Icon , und funktionierten nimmer.  Adode de-installiert u. Icons und programs wieder funktionieren ,aber kein mehr Adobe pdf reader. Die einsige pdf reader das ich finde ist adobe X und habe es mehr mals runter / installiert und immer mit die beschriebene problem. Ist da ein Lösung order erklaärung ? ACER ASPIRE computer mit Windows Vista.

Please, ellaborate the issue in English as i don't know German.

I translated it and seems that you have an issue in reading the pdf files(not sure though)

Try to remove adobe reader and pdfmaker from Add/remove window and then re-download Adobe Reader X from the below link.

Thanks will try that. Downloaded the upgrade adobe X and it wrote over the other Icons making them unusable . Deinstalled Adobe and tryed again..... because I now have no pdf reader abd each time the download of adibe X resulted in the same results. Thanks for the answer. J

Das hat nix mit Acrobat zu tun, das ist ein größeres Problem. Irgendein Tool blockiert die Ausführung von bestimmten Dateitypen und reißt sich dann alles unter den Nagel, insbesondere die MSI Verknüpfungen. Das können natürlich Virusscanner sein, aber ich hatte solche Fälle auch schon mit Druckertreibern. Du mußt erstmal rausfinden, welches Tool das sein könnte, dann den Windows Installer reparieren (manuell von microsoft runterladen) und dann nochmal probieren. Oder du installierst Vista gleich nochmal komplett neu.
