How can i change the transformation handles in the options menu for the menu-widget from height to w

How can i change the transformation handles in the options menu for the menu-widget from height to width? At the moment is it only possible for me to change the height of the menu-widget because the transformation handles voor the width are not selected. In the Options-panel i see next to Item Size: Uniform Height etc. How can i change that to Uniform Width?

    Hi,

     

    The option to uniform width is available for Horizontal Menu type widget, http://project02.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2012-04-13_0250.png

    If you are using the Vertical Menu type, then indeed that option is not yet available. You can add it as an idea or feature request for the next releases.

    Hi, thats the problem. In the horizontal Menu-widget i cannot change the width, only the height. First i could do it but then i did something (forgot what i did) and the menu-option changed from uniform width to uniform height and i dont know how to change that back,

    Hello,

     

    The trick is to set the top and bottom padding for BOTH the text frame and container (and menu) to zero - wallah, you can shrink the height of the menu/container to zero.  Same with the horizontal menu - make sure the L and R paddings are set to zero and shrink that width as much as you want.
