I'm having trouble installing CS6 beta;

I'm having trouble installing CS6 beta; when I try, it says to close background processes - specifically Bridge, which is NOT open. In fact, I just turned the computer on and tried to install what was dowloaded last night. Any ideas?

    Are you on Mac or windows?

     

    If you check the Task manager in Win (CTRL+Shift+Esc), or the ForceQuit applications dialog (CMD+Opt+ESC) do you see any Bridge, or other Adobe applications running?

    Windows - and there is NOTHING going on in task mgr - thanks

    Check closely in the Task Manager Process tab for any instance of Bridge.exe.

     

    If you have have the option checked to Load Bridge on Startup it runs in the background.

    I'll check - I think I do have start bridge on startup now that you mention

    it. But it has never appeared in task mgr. Thanks - I'll give it a try.
