Squeeze Effect on buildings?

Hi, Just looking for a simple transformation here? The logo on the left is what I'm working on, the buildings on the right are somewhat what I'm going for. I want to make it so that the buildings start small behind the banner, and grow larger as they get taller.

 

Basically I'm just trying to get these buildings to look like they all are starting at the same central place behind the banner, and then expand the taller they get, also I would like to add a curve to them. Think of it like a sunray. I'm going for that kind of effect. I hope that makes sense.

 

The buildings on the right are the best I could do with getting the curves (I created an art brush out of the other buildings and used the pen tool to get the curve) But I still dont have them all starting at one central point at the bottom. Not exactly what I want, but thats why I'm here!

    why dont you align them ?

    I created this very basic illustration from 4 Rectangles aligned centre bottom... then went from there...

    Try grouping the buildings and playing with the Effect->Warp->Shell Upper.

    @Grant I would but thats not the full effect I'm looking for. I was hoping for more of a tapered effect. I realize that I could create a tapered building from the start, but I was more looking for an effect I could use after the fact, such as DayForce is talking about

    The easiest way is select the objects grouped or ungroup the use the Free Transform tool by

     

    1. Clicking the bottom left anchor  of the bounding box and while holding the mouse down

     

    2. hold down the shift and control or command key and tthen drag inward, Or if youy wish it symetrical hold the Shift Control Alt keys

     

    3. Repeat for he right side

    Or use the 3D Rotate Effect

    Or if you use the Envelkope distort make with mesh oor the warp effect use the upper arc with the settings like these..

    Holy schnitzels thats it. The effect>warp>upper arc was exaclty what I was talking about
