Ok, I am a computer idiot so I apologize in advance if this is somewhere else in the forum and I have overlooked it.

I am trying to install the latest addition of flash player.  When I visit a website I get the banner message across the top about missing plugins.  I click the button to install the missing plug-ins where I see a box telling me I need to install adobe flash player 11.1.102.62.

I also tried going through the adobe website and downloading the latest version provided there but that did not work either.

I click through the installation tool and am told the installation failed.  I have no clue what I am doing wrong.  Now I am unable to replicate the issue because I cannot find a website which gives me the missing plug ins message.

If someone could instruct me on how to obtain any additional information which may be needed to diagnosis my problem I would be happy to provide it.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone may be able to offer.

I clicked your link and tried again but it is the same one I tried to install earlier when I navigated directly to the adobe website.  When I clicked on your link and tried I see a message which states "Only a single instance of this application may run".

I appreciate it you trying to help me.

Ok, it sounds like you have another copy of the installer still in memory.  Typically, restarting your computer will clear this out.  If it doesn't, try installing the appropriate version from one of the installers listed here:

Ok, the user agreement does not load.  I am guessing this is my problem since I am unable to agree to it.  I click I agree anyway but the next screen explains that the install was unsuccessful.
