How do I link a thumbnail on a page to the full-size image in another folder

Apr 6, 2012 7:32 AM

Help! How do I link a thumbnail on a site page to the full-size image in another folder, so allowing people to view the image on a blank page?

This is easy to do in Dreamweaver but I don't see how to do it in Muse. When I try to type in the image location (on the hard drive), Muse tries to make it an http link and says it can't be found.

You'll need to upload the folder with your images to your host, and then link to the image with that URL in Muse. For example, if you were uploading your image to "www.myhost.com/myimages/image.jpg," you could link the thumbnail to "www.myhost.com/myimages/image.jpg"

Yes, this is definitely one of Muse's pain points that we'll be working on in the future.
