Automate - Extend Features in Adobe Reader ?

Hello,

 

I'm working on MacOS X in graphic design and I've often to send editable PDF to my clients for corrections, they edit and send me back the files.

I have tried to make an Automator service to have the ability to Extend Features in Adobe Reader without going to the menu and clicking manualy.

 

My question is: Is-it possible to automate the "Extend Features in Adobe Reader" feature via a service in Automator or an other way on MacOS X?

Maybe the Adobe team has decided to restrict the access of this feature with a script.

    Adobe really does not want to make it possible to automate the process of Reader-enabling (and even removing usage rights from) documents with Acrobat. I haven't investigated what's possible on the Mac, but I know that on Windows it's not an option with Acrobat. They want you to use LiveCycle Reder Extensions for any automation of adding usage rights.

    As George says, it's not possible and intentionally-so. The steps to apply extended rights in Acrobat all involve at least one interactive event (clicking a button, etc.) which cannot be bypassed on any platform.
