Having trouble downloading CS5.5 Master Collection Trial

Hi, any help much appreciated.

Have downloaded the Download Assistant with no problems and signed into it.

It then comes up with a window to choose a folder to install to (I'm presuming this is for the trial).

I've selected Program Files folder but then nothing happens.

Yes this would be expected behavior. It is asking you where you want to download your install files too. I would recommend choosing the default which is your User folder or your Desktop. The Adobe Download Assistant does not have permissions to save to your Program Files folder.

Aha.
This does make sense, my head clearly wasn't on straight earlier.
It would be helpful if it gave you an error message to this effect though, rather than leaving you wondering what's going on!

Thank you very much for your help, it appears to downloading files fine now.

Your welcome AychP84 and you aren't the only user who has ran into this difficulty. We have also provided feedback to the Adobe Download Assistant team and they are looking at including an error message for users who choose Program Files for Windows or the Applications folder on Mac OS.
