Hello!

 

Does Illustrator or any other Illustration app for mac enable you to scan in a sketch (of a logo, etc) & have the program create a basic digital outline of the scanned image?

    Illustartor cannot scan your image , but can craete a basic digital outline of the scanned image ,

     

    SO you have to use the native applivation to scan the image , once scanned you can place it in Illustrator and can do "Live Tace and Expand" to create the Outline.
