Hello All, I have recently revamped my computer installing 2X 120gb sdd in raid 0 configuration and 24 gb of ram, I have been in the practise of burning a DVD image file and then burning discs in Nero using the multiple burner function. Since the revamp Encore stops when burning a DVD image file with about 15% to go, it will burn a DVD disc with no problems but I want to take advantage of the multiple burner function of Nero.
Is there something I didn't install when revamping the comuter ?
Did you mean SSD when you wrote sdd?

Also, some other notes for Encore

I do not recall a problem that involved benig able to burn a disk, but not to build to an image. I wonder about some kind of disk drive issue.

No error message; just hangs?
I get no error message it just stops but the C: drive light is still flashing as if all is well when I try to close the programme it won't, most times I have to manually restart. I am saving the image file to a 1tb Samsung Spinpoint with 650 gb free.
Thanks all for trying to help I decided to do a few checks on the hdd after Stan Jones said it might be a disc problem I copied a 4gb video file to it and it slowed down to 35mb sec, I then set encore to output the same image file as before to another of my Samsung spinpoints and it comlpeted in 50 secs I appear to have a hdd that has gone slow. I am now trying to get all the information on the slow drive to another but it is also reading slowly. I'm going to bed now 12:00 in Spain, i'll leave it tranfering data overnight then format it tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience of a hdd going slow ?
I have stayed up a while and have now got all my data off the disc it won't format so it must be faulty. I am quite happy with the normal performance of my computer I scored 152 on the benchmark and can render a 90 minute film in 40 mins. I only ever have one line of video plus titles in the timeline so it's not that demanding, I keep my source files on one spinpoint my system on the raid ssd and output to another spinpoint. For a hoppyist I really have invested in a decent computer (i7 win 7 64 Cuda 24gb ram) etc.
Thanks for the help I have received
>won't format so it must be faulty
I agree... if you can't format a drive, something is BAD wrong with the hardware... time for the recycle bin... if you have anything on the drive that is sensitive, drill a hole through the drive before tossing
