Jquery slideto not working on ipad & iphone

Ive implemented this code into my site http://jesseprice.com/jquery-slide-to-plugin/ and it works great but the same code doesn't work on my ipad or iphone.

Does anone know of an alternative that would work across all platforms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This link -- about half way down the page in comments -- has a shorter solution that works in iPhone/iPad.
