I have not been able to install two separate Adobe Reader updates, nothing happens when I click on 'install'. The first time this occurred I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Adobe Reader to overcome the issue, but I have not been able to reinstall after uninstalling it this time....a 'general installation error' shows at 96%. I ran Microsoft Fix It for installation issues, but was advised that no problems were detected. I have tried disabling my antivirus software, but to no avail. I am using XP plus SP3 and have never had this problem with Adobe Reader before....can anyone help please?
