Jagged font printing from InDesign CS5, but not when exported to PDF

I just upgraded to CS5 and I'm having a weird issue. When I print on a laser printer, the fonts print with somewhat jagged edges (they look like they were printed on an ink jet printer). But If I export the file to a PDF and print that, I get sharp text like I expected.

Any suggestions about how to fix this?

My advice has always been and likely always will be to export a PDF and print from there. I really don’t care much for InDesign’s printing capability.

If it's a postscript printer, make sure you have the Download PPD fonts box checked.
